The most famous frosted tips belonged to Justin Timberlake back in his *NSYNC days. Frosted tips were very popular 1990s and many men who had this hairstyle "frosted" the front of their hair. Mixed with hair gel, frosted tips were a recipe for disaster. Today you can find very few men with frosted tips but if you do it is usually a bit more casual and classy. They do not gel their tips so then the separated look doesn't happen and the "frosted-ness" is very subtle.
