This fashionista is environmentally conscience and buys clothing at thrift stores, often for $1 or so, and re-purposes them to fit her size and style. It is super easy to find cute clothes at the thrift store that don't always fit right so do what she did and buy them anyways and cut and sew them into a new style or a new size! Learning how to sew is simple and worth it when you can save so much money on self-tailored clothing that fit like gloves! 

Skirt Bikinis

 

Skirt bikinis are a great way to wear a swim suit but not show off your thighs if you aren't too fond of them. Make sure you get one with shorts underneath or attached so the top doesn't fall off in the water. 

Floral Heels

      

According to Kim Kardashian, floral heels are so in right now! It's super easy to find them in almost any store. They are virtually compatible with every outfit and go well with formal ware like dresses and casual ware like dark blue jeans. They come in wedges, stiletto, strappy, thick, boot, and studded heels.

Do you ever get runs in your tights? One easy way to fix these holes from spreading is clear nail polish. Just apply the polish on the hole and a 1/2 inch around the hole to prevent further spreading. To prevent holes from springing up out of the blue spray cheap hairspray on a new or old pair of tights before you put them on. 

Home Remedies #5: Beachy Waves

 

Here's an easy recipe to make a hairspray for beachy waves! Since summer break is sneaking up it's the perfect time to start your summer time hair dos. This hairspray will help create bouncy hair that looks like it's been kissed my ocean mist! It's also great to use to spruce up your messy beach hair to make it more defined or to just pretend like you've been at the beach all day and have the hair to "prove" it.

• 1 cup of hot water (not boiling)- Can also use strong Chamomile Tea as the base if you want to lighten hair or black tea as the base if you want to darken hair, but you will need to keep in the fridge.
• 2 tablespoons epsom salts (or more for extra texture)
• 1/2 tsp Himalayan or Sea Salt (optional but adds stiffness- I get it here)
• 1 teaspoon aloe vera gel (I get it here)
• 1/2 tsp conditioner (I’ve used this Organix coconut one and Dr. Bronners Lavender Coconut ) or a few drops of almond oil or jajoba oil
• optional: a few drops of essential oils or a spritz of your favorite perfume for scent- Lavender and citrus are great options
• optional: 1 teaspoon lemon juice and 1 teaspoon vodka or alcohol- if you want to lighten hair (the lemon juice lightens and the alcohol preserves)

"I like twurtles!" As said by that viral turtle boy on youtube. Well turtles are very cute and there are many different varieties of turtle rings, sea and land. Some are simply gold or silver plated others are encrusted with crystals or birthstones. Search for these stylish rings online because they'd be hard to find in stores.
