Leather Skirts

The leather skirt is the new trend! Brown, black, or whatever color. Pleated or circle leather skirts are super cute, straight skirts can look a bit trashy, it just depends on the length and tightness it is. Leather skirts can be wore in any type of style from rocker chic, pin up, work, everyday, even formal. A loose blouse, graphic tee, button up cotton shirt or almost any other type of material or shirt style will go with these skirts. Paired with some tights and heels or boot and this style can be pulled off by any girl!

Brassieres, Cone, or Bullet Bras

Nowadays we have push up bras but back then brassieres were in! Brassieres also known as the cone or bullet bra were popular in the 1950s. However they were started in the 14th century. It isn't as drastic as Madonna's cone bras though. I have no clue why slightly pointed breasts would be attractive but then again we get padded bras to look better even if it isn't part of our real body. This was a style for pin up ladies like Marilyn Monroe and for regular working women. I don't know if this style will be brought back but anything is possible.

Check out this link for the history of the Brassiere.

Monthly Me!: Maxi Skirt and Tank

Monthly Me!!!!!!

Sorry for not doing a video this time but I hope this picture will do. Okay this outfit is my black sheer maxi skirt from Forever21, about $21, that has a short slip underneath. The slip is too short so I wear some spandex under also. I should have worn my gold Banana Republic flip flops in the picture but I took them off. The flip flops would have probably been $30 but I got them at Goodwill for $5 and new worn! As for my top it was a tank top from TJMaxx probably around $13. I like this outfit very much especially for the hot weather lately even though it's fall now!

Banana Republic flip flops I was talking about.

Chain Print

On a trip to Forever21 with a friend, we noticed that tons of dresses, jackets, blazers, bags, blouses, etc. had a chain print on them. I immediately thought of Kayne West and his outrageous style, this print is most likely apart of his wardrobe. Gold chains tangled and twisted on fabric. I think the style is kind of tacky, for my taste at least. However this is a fabulous style for the rocker and mainstream girls.

Weekly Review of Forever21 Apparel: Cable Knit Front Sweater

This is absolutely adorable! Paired with the brown leather skirt and a white oxford shirt peaking through the neck and cuffs. It's only $19.80 and an essential for fall weather. These cable knitted sweaters are going to be hot this fall so stock up!

Dove Deodorant Review

http://www.dove.us/products/deodorant/default.aspx
Dove has many, many scents and types of deodorants like prescription strength and dark underarms. Their new line, Dove Go Fresh, can be beautifully pair with a matching body spray for a little extra scent. I would definitely recommend Dove's deodorant lines with a B+ on scent and a B on protection.

Face Masks

Face masks, or masques are a great and simple way to pamper yourself. A lot of masks come in little one-use bags which are perfect for a at home spa day. Peel makes are excellent as well as clay, mud, or the cloth-like ones. Some masks heat up the more you massage them on you face, some smell like chocolate, and some look like slime. Many, if not all brands will have an effect on your skin be it good or bad. The first time I used a peeling mask my skin felt smooth. They are designed to take of dead skin, unclog pores, relax skin, rejuvenate skin, exfoliate, clarify, de-oil, tone, treat acne, relive stress, etc. You'll just have to search for the one with the right qualities for you.

E!'s Mani Cam

Before the Emmy awards were given out E! with came up with a Mani Cam. This little idea is a shoe box diorama of the red carpet with a mini camera inside to show the star fabulous manicures! I think this is a creative way to show the celebrity's nails off, a fashion section usually neglected on the red carpet.
They also had a Stiletto Cam for the star's shoes.

Bubble Ponytail

The bubble ponytail is trending now, it's been in Seventeen mag and it is a great hairstyle for sporty girls. It reminds me of Sporty Spice from the Spice Girls because she'd always have a high ponytail and typically the bubbly ponytail starts high. This hairstyle is also great for little girls. It is super easy to do this hairstyle, just start with a regular hair tie high on your head, and put in elastic bands a few inches apart and scrunch them up one by one or tease them a bit.

Knitted Sweaters

7 FREE Knitting Patterns for Men

Get your warm clothes out again, because fall is here! Knitted sweaters will be your best friend this year. Try not to get turtle neck sweaters. Oversized or the right fit, knitted sweaters are great!
For the guys, sweater robes or ones with v-necks are best for you. Try wearing collared shirts underneath and pop that collar!

Help Me Decide: Homecoming Dress #2

So this dress is flashy and stylish but it has a vintage shape and design. I think it's great for homecoming because of it's flashiness!!!

This dress is a bit more expensive than the other dress, it is $72.50, but the plus side to the price is that any order over $50 has free shipping! The website is debshops.com. I had never heard of this website until this year, it doesn't seem sketchy, it's a trusted site. A lot of their dresses are kinda ghetto and definitely not my style, but this one stood out and I think I will get this one.

What are your opinions?!?!

Effaclar Review

La Roche-Posay is a company that makes Effaclar anti-acne products. This is a great acne solution set, with multiple strains of their product made for different acne stages and conditions. I had a tube of the Effaclar K spot treatment and face wash. They had no harsh smell and worked fairly well. The prices are up there but I think I got this on sale at Target possibly. I would recommend this product to my readers.

Twisted Ponytail

The twisted ponytail or inverted ponytail, I don't know the real name so let's just call it that. It is fine messy or neat, to the side or down the back. This is a great way to finish off a fish tail braid and also to "pretty-up" a plain ponytail when you are feeling lazy. This can make your lazy hair do into an elegant plus to any outfit. This hairstyle will look especially cool if you have dyed bottom hair. To do this you simply put your hair in a low pony, then open up your hair above the hair tie in the middle of it, and push the bottom of the pony into it and pull. This creates a twist along side the hair tie, super easy!
