Manly Post #3: Crazy Fun Button Ups

         

If your style, as a guy, is random but complied well you might want to consider taking a trip to the thrift store to pick up a few crazy button ups. These shirts vary from rainbow colors, paisley, tribal, and tacky prints, random animals, etc. They resemble the look from the 80's to 90's. Guys, you can also let your girlfriends borrow your shirt for an over-sized look or have them tie the shirts up. A great way to change up the crazy shirt style is to have the sleeves completely rolled down or 3/4 rolled up. Also you can find these button ups in short sleeves and then you can keep them like that or go for a short sleeve roll up. This style is for any guy but mostly daring and if you find a girl that respects your riskiness and sense of style, keep her. 

Polka Dot Workout Shorts

  

Polka dots are always cheerful and ditsy! They make me happy and it is great to be happy while working out so it doesn't seem like a chore. I have a pair of Nike pink shorts with black polka dots and I love just wearing them around the house or to do yard work. The thing is I like wearing long yoga pants for working out rather than shorts but that's different for others. It's easy to find polka dot spandex or loose workout shorts online and sometimes in stores; I got my shorts at Marshalls. These shorts will get you compliments and make you feel happy! 

Weekly Review of Forever21 Apparel: Not All Those Who Wander Are Lost Muscle Tee

This is a shirt that my sister showed me that she wanted. She is into those inspirational quotes and this is one of them. Sadly I couldn't find it at my Forever21 so she'll just have to order it offline. This is a muscle tee and it's great for spring and summer. You can wear it with shorts or jeans and maybe a floppy hat. It is an edgier shirt because of it's implied masculine look and name, Muscle Tee! It is only $14.80 which is on the cheaper side for Forever21 but then again it is just a tank top. It features the phrase, "NOT ALL THOSE WHO WANDER ARE LOST" on a pink and white ombre tank. 

Sally Hansen Creme Hair Bleach

Ladies, it is super bad to shave your facial hair, I hope you all know that. The more you shave or pluck away those embarrassing facial hair patches the thicker and darker it comes back. In stead of making the problem worse try the simple solution of bleaching. This will lessen the look of the hair on your face by decreasing the color and over time the hair will "shrivel" up and return to a more normal size and less coarse. You can find tons of facial hair bleaches but Sally Hansen is a top seller. You don't have to use it just for your upper lip area, you can lighten the hair in between your eyebrows or sides of your cheeks. 

Owl Bags

       

Owl bags are super cute! Some are easy to make yourself like the quilt pattern ones, others like the leather made bags would be harder to make. Owls are always in style where as other animals go in and out of styles due to certain trends. An owl bag would definitely be something to get for a friend who loves owls! Or someone who doesn't, either way the bags are very fashionable. 

Home Remedies #4: Toothpaste Acne Cream

 

This is a new trend in home remedies and has be proven to work on certain skin conditions. What you want to do is place small amounts of toothpaste onto the sight of the breakout and leave overnight for full results. In the morning, rub off as much of the dry paste as possibly then wash your face. Do not over apply so do this every other day or your skin will begin to dry out, also moisturize your skin after with an oil-free moisturizer. Toothpaste as an acne treatment actually works! This acne solution is much cheaper than real acne products and may work just as well. Trust me it works! I've only been doing it for about 3 days now and my skins looks great. It is much less red and fresh bumps that come up go down the next morning when I put the toothpaste on them. I just hope it'll keep working and will work on my bad breakouts. 

A word of caution...

If you decide that toothpaste and acne is a partnership you want to try out, follow some basic tips:

1. use a normal white toothpaste – NOT a gel variety
2. choose a toothpaste with minimal additives (whitening chemicals and fluoride can cause burning or further irritation)
3. DON’T rub the toothpaste into your skin – simply dab a small amount over the pimple to cover it and the surrounding area
4. do not leave toothpaste on your face over night
5. find the right toothpaste – Crest is known to burn, whereas Aquafresh and Colgate are highly recommended by toothpaste and acne advocates

The floral patterns and one piece are great for disguising your small love handles. These suits are also great for girls with curves. If you love these swim suits but don't like your thighs, try ones with a small ruffle at the thigh area to distract from that area.
