Body Glitter

Body glitter can be fun, get spray bottle or powder kind and put it on you face, arms, chest, or hair. Body glitter draws attention to where ever you put it. You can do temporary glitter tattoos also! A little glitter around your eyes will drag the attention to them and it adds a little extra "prettiness" to you makeup. You can find body glitter in the glitter flacks or dust. Don't put too much on or you'll be looking like Ke$ha! Buy a spray can of hair glitter and you'll add a pop of shimmer to your hair, don't worry it washes out!

Lip Liner

Good Examples

Lip liner is very dangerous!!! There is a certain amount that is just right and many girls who use lip liner go overboard! You do not want a unnatural color unless it matches the lipstick or gloss you put on after some what. Lip liner tattooed on is common and may be okay because you can get a subtle look that lasts forever and becomes more natural looking. Do not extend your lips too much. Also don't create a drastic upper lip arch. Remember lip liner is to accentuate your lips and drag attention to them so if you do a bad job on them people will notice even more!

Sequins Shoulders

Sequin shoulders are something fun to add to a regular shirt. Sequins are so in right now and a subtle sequin shirt is best. Sequins that trickled down the shoulder or beads and sequins army-like shoulder pads are good too. I would definitely suggest this are a holiday outfit, especially with long sleeves.

Filled in Eyebrows: Too Dark and Just Right

If you are a girl that stencils in her brows be very cautious about the shade and how much you put in. Do not fill them in over your natural shape, you'll look like that dog with eyebrows

Also don't shade them a unnatural color to your natural brows.

Here are some good and bad picture comparisons.

Miss Katy Perry has matured with looks very well. Here brow shape is less stressed looking and filled in perfectly, unlike before.

Ankle Bracelets

Since we are on the topic of feet from my last post, let's move on up to the ankle! Ankle bracelets are much more "flattering" than toe rings, this is true if you like your ankles or if you have nice ankles, not cankles. If you have cankles and enjoy wearing ankle bracelets it does drag more attention to them, so avoid that. Now ankle bracelets can me chains or a material-like bracelet. They go well with heels or flats, and are best seen when wearing shorts, skirts, dresses, or capris. You can find ones with fancy charms and multiple chains, or feathers and beads on a leather strap. Don't get anything too fancy because it's just an ankle bracelet.

Toe Rings...

Bottom line, feet are gross... And accessorizing toes with rings is weird. Half the time your feet are out of sight, in shoes or socks, or no one is looking at them. Feet are shown when around the house barefoot where no one cares what's on your feet as long as it isn't dog poop, and also when you were sandals, which is only around spring and summer. Toe rings were very popular at the start of the new millennium with young adult and teen girls. Feet aren't hands, so keep the rings to your hands.

Turtlenecks

Turtlenecks, they are hated and loved, ugly and stylish. I think tight fitted ones look good on men. Turtlenecks are usually a thick, knitted sweater with a high collar. These collars keep you neck toasty warm in the bone chilling cold, but if you are inside where it may be room temperature or higher you will want to take them off. Make sure you wear a nice outfit underneath yours. Turtlenecks were designed to have a built-in scarf. Did you know that you radiate heat from your head, neck, feet, and hands? That's why hats, scarves, mittens and warm socks or shoes were made. Also have you noticed when you're hot at night you tend to stick a foot or leg out from under the covers, to give off heat. So to maintain your body heat get a turtleneck!

Crimped Hair

    Sarah Hyland Hair

Crimped hair was very popular in the 80's and made a come back in the early 2000's, yet again it is rising in style. Loose or big crimps are a calmer way to go, but if you like this hairstyle then go for tight and small crimps. It all depends on the "crimper" you have. You can even get the crimped look without a "crimper", by curling your hair quickly and loosening the curls or braid your hair while it's wet and take it out once it's dry.

Fashionable Raincoats

Last fall or winter I did a post on a clear raincoat from Forever21. A clear raincoat can be a fashionably girl's best friend, because it allows you to show off a cute outfit with being protected from the rain. However, you may still find normal, fashionable raincoats. Like the traditional yellow coat but with a simpler design, and big buttons and pockets. Rain resistant coats are also handy for light rain. You can always find trench coat shaped raincoats which are long enough to cover most of your body.

Knitted Sides: Boots

This is a growing trend, boots with knitted sides. They come is all different knit patterns and boot lengths. Try any shoe store and I'm sure there will be at least one type of side knitted boots.

Embroidered Boots

Embroidered boots are something fun, but can be tacky. If you find the right color and design you can pull it off. This style can be on comfy boots, heeled, leather, material, cowboy boots, etc. Pointed or round, tassels or none, this style is something to try out.

Military Coats

Military coats are stylish and fun. Traditionally, they have two button rows down the chest area. They also have a long peplum from the waist and hips. Military coats come in all sorts of colors from blacks, blues, tans, browns, and army green. These coats include a pointed color or slight turtle neck. These coats are long, about mid thigh, and with keep you sheltered from the wind and stylish in fall and winter.

Ear Cuffs & Chains

No, not ear cuffs and chains like hand cuffs. Recently a friend of mine wore a ear cuff and it was adorable! I would love to find one. Ear cuffs go around the cartilage of your ear and may have a chain connected to a nose piercing, a hair clip, or ear piercing. There are many unique shapes, sizes, and designs. Try and find one that you like and keep me posted!

Connectable Nose Rings

Nose rings they are fine, earrings of course, but nose rings that connect to your earrings... These are like those sunglasses, that WERE popular, that have a chain that should be worn around your neck so use don't lose them but the youth now think that they should be dangling in front of their heads. I know that these connectable nose rings are common in the Indian culture and they can be fashionable on others. But for now it seems like something too odd for me.
