Sunscreen

Sunscreen is super important for the summer and in fact anytime you are outside for a long time while the sun is out. You can still get burned when the sun is hidden behind clouds. Protect your skin and health with sunscreen to prevent sun damage and possibly skin cancer. Did you know you can get worse wrinkles from being out int he sun often?

I love the sun and seldom put sunscreen on, because I like getting some color. Other people are religious sunscreen users! Sunscreen has many different protection strengths and even if you are out in the sun just for a bit or the sun isn't that "strong" use the maximum strength you can find. SPF 100 sounds great huh?

Okay, so there are sprays and creams, roll-ons and even wipes. Creams rub off in water, sprays make your skin sticky and tight so find sunscreen brands that stay on in sweat, water, etc. without the tight feeling on your skin. Sport sunscreens are best.

Now if you get burned use Aloe Vera. It's this green jelly looking stuff that comes from the Aloe Vera cactus. If you have one in your backyard, harvest it's relieving power by breaking open one of it's reeds and squeezing out the inside juice. This will help dull the firey pain that you get from a sun burn.

Cargo Pants & Shorts

All sorts of colors, all sorts of pockets everywhere, cargo pants and shorts are sometimes good and bad looking. I picture soccer moms wearing cargo pants a lot and hunters and outdoors men wearing cargo shorts and pants. There are three main colors; khaki, green, and brown, but also colors like white, black, grey, camouflage, etc. I don't suggest this as a teenager style but some forms of cargo pants and shorts can be pulled of by girls, not really guys though, but shorts are easier for them to pull off.

Unique Vintage Website Review

Unique Vintage an online vintage clothing store. Vintage looking clothing but made now a days. I bought my homecoming dress from this website and I love it! A helpful tip when purchasing an item online, always buy something you want when it is the off season. If you buy a swimsuit now you'll be paying a lot, so buy when they have sales from the previous season. Buy prom dresses a little after homecoming season, etc.

Elf Makeup Review

Elf has EVERYTHING! And all for around 1, 3, and 6 bucks!!! Their bigger items like eye shadow pallets are around $10-$15. At my local Target in the makeup section there is a small Elf section, they only have about a third of what Elf makes but it is great having a section of it at all. Lipstick, lip gloss, eye shadow, eyeliner, blush, powder cover-up, liquid concealer, brushes, mascara, and more and more and   MORE!!!! All of their products are cheap, but not cheap quality. I love these products, and I think you will too, especially their great prices!!!

Monthly Me! : Staying Cool & Warm

This is a great way to stay cool without getting too cold. A denim jacket with the sleeves rolled up over a flowy tank top. The denim jacket sleeves can be rolled down, but rolled up keeps you warm on windy summer days. This outfit is great for summer because of it's bright and calm contrast in color.

Weekly Review of Forever21 Apparel: Strappy Floral Dress

Yellow is perfect for summer and if it's a yellow dress than even better!!! Light yellow is good for pale skin and or light hair. Any other shade of yellow, dark or light, is good for dark skin and or dark hair. This dress is $24.80 at Forever21, a bit pricey but it is a cute dress.

Denim vs. Material Shorts

Denim
Denim shorts are limited in color and patterns. You can get faded, acid washed, ripped, whatever. A downside of denim shorts is that they ride up your legs more.

Material
Material shorts can have a wide variety of patterns and colors. They are a bit more dress and fun looking than denim shorts.

10 Nail Ideas

<3 1) Stripes - Have a steady hand and drag brush down a base coat polish with other colors or use a polish pen or toothpick.

<3 2) Neon - Don't go overboard with neon, but dress your nails up for a fun night out.

<3 3) Polka Dots - Get a Q-tip or any other sized utensil and dab on top of dry base coat.

<3 4) Glitter - Get glittery nail polish or coat nails with clear polish or any other color and dip nails in a bowl of glitter.

<3 5) Lace - Cut small amounts of lace ribbon and place on top of still wet nails and let dry onto nails.

<3 6) French Tips - Easy, you know how! But this time try with bright colors for summer and a base color.

<3 7) Tie-Dye - Water down or thin with paint thinner to make the polish easier to move around nail with a toothpick or just leave as is an create a design.

<3 8) Pastel - Think Easter colors!

<3 9) Half-Moons - Get those binder hole repair stickers and put the hole around the "root" of your nails and paint inside the hole.

<3 10) Graphic - Use a fine tipped instrument to create boarders, any color black is a good one, but paint your nails before making boarders. Put small amounts of  polish on random parts of your nail and wipe away excess an do boarder.

Harem Pants

Harem pants just seem stupid looking, but not all. Only the ones with the long sag in between the legs. Others are fine. I wouldn't wear these but if you have a urban style go ahead an test this style out.

Jumpsuits

So I'm watching the finale of American Idol and two guest singers wore jumpsuits, Fantasia and Chaka Khan. This is a rising trend and I don't really like it. Especially on these two singers, who are a bit heavier set, but a flowy jumpsuit would have been better. Well jumpsuits are just long leg rompers. But sometimes there are lines to separate.

Sparkle Blush

A hint of sparkles or sparkling blush on your cheeks is such a great way to make your cheek bones and eyes pop! I know I just did a blog about bronzer and how to switch from blush to bronzer in the summer and fall but like I said you don't always have to wear bronzer and blush in the "correct" seasons, or you don't have to wear it at all. This is just a little tip for you all!

Chrome by Azzaro - Cologne

Okay so this super sexy smelling cologne is only $20 at TJMaxx, I saw it the other day there! They also sell it at Sephora, but I'm sure you can find it at Macy's too. It's hard to describe but I love it and suggest any girl to pick it up for her man! I put a video of a review, this guy is kinda sexy, dressed all snazzy! Mhm! with his 1 oz. of Chrome, FOXY! hahaha okay so check out the video, he will describe it better!

Bandeau: Bra Tops

This new trend is in for the warm months ahead. Forever21 has tons of bandeaus. The funny thing about these is that they are called bandeaus, "band", and they look like headbands in a way because some are so thin!!! I like the ones with straps and sweetheart necklines but some of the no strap ones with a twist in the middle are cute too.

Blush to Bronzer

Winter and spring. Summer and fall.

In the winter and spring time it is best to wear blush, to make a rosy cheeked look for the cold days in winter and a preppy pink color for spring. And for fall and summer you should wear bronzer. Bronzer creates a warm, sun kissed glow for your skin in the summer and continues through the fall; bronzer colors are usually good matches with fall's natural colors. Blush in winter then spring, right after each other, and bronzer in the summer and fall, consecutive also. Now if you don't want to do this everyday for these seasons, sure that's fine, do whatever!
