Party Don'ts

When you go to a party, don't get wasted out of your mind. Because then you look like a mess, and most of the time not a "hot mess". Your hair will get messed up, your make-up will look like crap, your party clothes will get stolen, lost, or barfed on. And you'll end a fun night with your head in the crapper. And we all know that guys handle alcohol better than girls, that's why the guys are always there to watch you puke all over yourself and a few other drunk girl friends and just laugh at you. So this New Year keep it safe. Don't get messed up. Have a great New Year!

Don't Sag

Oh WHAT THE!!??

Girls and guys, don't sag! It's super unattractive if a girl does it. Okay there are sometimes when you REALLY need to pull your pants up girls, don't deny it, but you can't pull them up all the way because you'll look really funky. But if this happens a lot then just wear a belt, and I know sometimes belts don't always help. Guys, if you are short, sagging is even worse because that just makes you look super short, avoid shorts because they will also make you look short, and if you are short and wear pants keep them at a "normal sag". When you wear shorts and if you are a shorter guy then it pretty much sucks for you because you don't want to hike them up above your knees because you think that the style you have, (saggy pants, flat rim hats, high Nike sock, vans) or whatever, you think it's cool. It's not. And if you let those shorts of yours go past your knees they'll make your legs look shorter, so just toss the shorts, and switch to jeans. SAGGY AND BAGGY ARE NOT HOT! FOR BOTH SEXES!

Hairstyles for Different Face Shapes (As Requested)

Here is one way to figure out your face shape:
To find out the shape of your face, measure it with a tape measure or ruler. Take (and write down) the following:
bullet
Measure your face across the top of your cheekbones, then measure across your jaw line, between the widest points.
bullet
Measure across your forehead at the widest point. Generally the widest point will be somewhere about halfway between your eyebrows and your hairline.
bullet
Measure from the the widest point of your forehead to the bottom of your chin. (Remember that you are measuring your face -- not your entire head -- and mid-forehead to chin will usually cover that area. )

Hairstyles for round facesThere really is no one "perfect" hairstyle for a round-shaped face, as many things factor into the total equation. For example, the length of your hair, its texture and weight, your age and lifestyle requirements all play a part in what is ultimately the best.
There are good general guidelines that you can follow, but the best solution is to find a style that works best for you and all your beauty needs.

If your face is round, the best hairstyles generally include:
1. Layered bangs rather than straight or heavy bangs.
2. Short styles which give height.
3. Styles that add length.
4. Styles that keep the sides of your hair short or close to the face.
5. Curls around the crown -- but never near the cheeks -- to create height. Keep the sides of your hair short with a curly style.
6. Longer to very long styles, with bangs and a graduated shag or layers so that the face and the neck are given a slenderizing shape.

Keira Knightley

If you have a square-shaped face, you have a strong, angular jawline, and your face measures about the same from top to bottom as from side to side -- think Demi Moore and Keira Knightley. Here are the hairstyles that look best on the strong, beautiful square face shape.

1

LONG, LOOSE WAVES

Women with oblong faces can't get away with extremely long hair, but square faces definitely can. Wear your hair long (several inches below the shoulders) in loose waves to soften your features and jawline.

2SOFT, LAYERED BOB

If you want to wear your hair short, do so with a soft, layered bob. Don't get a blunt cut; it will accentuate your boxy, square jaw.

3SIDESWEPT BANGS

Avoid straight, blunt and thick bangs. Instead, ask your stylist for sideswept bangs that are just below brow length.
Pixie cuts, long layered styles and curly hair below the jawline also look great on a square face.

Hairstyles for long faces -

YOUR FACE IS LONG IF:

It's shaped like a rectangle. Features of a long face are a square jaw and a square forehead.

THE IDEAL CUT SHOULD:

Make your face appear less boxy and more oval, the ideal face shape. Oval shape faces are wider at the cheeks and slightly tapered at the forehead and chin.

WHAT LOOKS BEST ON LONG FACE SHAPES

Ask your stylist to create volume at the center of the face by cutting layers at the ear and cheekbones. This makes cheekbones appear wider and your face more oval. The overall length of your hair should fall below or above the chin so that the hairstyle doesn't compete with your strong jaw line.
"Long hair styles look fabulous on long faces," Labrecque says. Just be sure to add layers in the sweet spot – the cheekbones. If your hair is superlong, you can also start layers below the chin.

WHAT TO AVOID

A haircut that ends at your chin. It draws the eye to the jaw, and would only accentuate the length and squared off features of a long face shape.
"A bob in this instance would definitely be out," Labrecque says.

TREND TO TRY

Bangs: They help shorten a long face shape because they cover the forehead. Ask for gentle, side-swept bangs – a universally flattering look. If you're daring, a long face can pull off a blunt, severe fringe, too, Labrecque says.
If you're always pulling your hair into a ponytail, a move that emphasizes the long shape, bangs are essential for balancing the look.

Betsey Johnson

Okay so this Christmas I got my first Betsey Johnson necklace! The first picture up there is it! A panda with a crown on its head and a black bow! I love pandas! Thanks mom! I've always seen Betsey's necklaces at Macy's or TJMaxx and wanted to get one because they are so detailed and well thought out designs. One of her newer designs the English bear police man, red English telephone booth, and a taxi are super adorable! Also the jungle theme she had a while back. On my necklace and I'm sure on all of the necklaces the back of the charm is even in detail, mine has tiny hearts! She is very talented in her jewelry, also in her clothing!

She may be crazy but for all the right reasons!

New Years Nails

Recently I've been into doing my nails a lot more, I use to hate painting them. Now it is actually fun, and getting to experiment with different styles and patterns is awesome. I just did something that would be perfect for New years, dark, sparkly blue with slanted gold dots and then slanted silver dots above the gold ones. It looks really god but I wish I had a steadier hand. Try anything that is sparkly and that will match your party outfit this New Years. Also I got some glow in the dark nail polish and it actually glows!!! It's amazing!

P.S. Gold, silver, black, blue, rainbow confetti, and any type of polish that is sparkly.

New Years Party Dresses

scalloped boudoir black cocktail dress
Something sparkly, something BAM! Something that will be an eye grabber! Something that will make the guy you've been eyeing all night want to come over at 11:59 and kiss you through the new year. Blue and silver, black and gold, tight fitted cocktail dresses, or flowy casual party dresses. Anything that will make you look like a stunner on the way to the new year! 2012 will be amazing if you follow my lead. Good luck!

Blazers and Skirts

I hope all of you had a great Christmas, or whatever holiday you celebrate. I got a very pretty floral print, tight skirt from my sister and yesterday we went to the mall all dolled up just because and I wore my skirt with black lace tights, a white tank top, and my lovely black blazer. Very stylish. Dressing up for an outing is always fun, don't over do it but if you're going out where you'll be seen by tons of people you want to make an impression. right?

Sephora Christmas Mishap

What a wonderful Christmas gift I got from my aunt, uncle, and cousins for Sephora. Funny thing was that I got a heavy card yesterday and opened it and there was a gift card and a mirror, but my sister didn't receive one. Until today she got her card, except there wasn't a mirror or a gift card in it. And to our surprise Santa had taken a knife or letter opener and slit the side of the envelope open and slide out the mirror and gift card, leaving nothing but a beautiful card inside for a girl on the nice list.

What have people come to these days!!! First you hear of strangers paying for people's layaway and carolers spreading the Christmas cheer and receiving a $50 tip when they weren't asking for any donations. AND NOW! Mail room workers stealing from children's Christmas cards. Selfish things like this make me want to go BAH HUMBUG to the shitty people on this planet.

Merry Christmas..... >:()
